We’d like to introduce our team of 18 hardworking, motivated and creative Year 12 students participating in the Young Enterprise Programme.
Our team ‘Homely Hippo’ meet weekly with a Business Advisor where they make all of the decisions about their business.
They successfully launched their craft business in September and attended numerous Christmas Markets over the festive period where they rose to the challenge of a competitive sales environment. Their most recent event was at Haddon Hall where the team sold their hand-stitched garments, made by the dedicated production team, showcasing their business, promoting and selling, whilst engaging with the public.
Their next events are the Derbyshire trade fair and the County finals where they are looking forward to competing with the other teams in our area.
