Years 7-9
All students follow a common curriculum in Key Stage 3, providing full coverage of the National Curriculum. Students have lessons in Maths, English, Science, Design Technology (including Food Technology), Computing, History, Geography, Music, Art (including Textiles), Drama, Physical Education, a Modern Foreign Language, Religious Education (RE) and Personal Development (including Relationships, Sex and Health Educations (RSHE), Careers and Citizenship). In Year 8, the opportunity to study a second modern foreign language and a skills lesson are included in the curriculum. Further choice and flexibility is introduced in Year 9, and in some subjects work towards accredited GCSE courses begins.
