Years 7-9

All students follow a common curriculum in Year 7, providing full coverage of the National Curriculum. Students have lessons in Maths, English, Science, Design Technology (including Food Technology), Information and Communication Technology (ICT), History, Geography, Music, Art, Drama, Physical Education, a Modern Foreign Language and Religious Education (RE), Personal Development (including Relationships, Sex and Health Educations (RSHE), Careers and Citizenship). The opportunity to study a second modern foreign language is also introduced during Key Stage 3. Further choice and flexibility is introduced in Year 9, and in some subjects accredited GCSE and Vocational courses begin.
