Lady Manners School Dedicated Bus Services – LMS1, LMS2 and LMS3

Buying tickets with ShuttleID (for buses – LMS1/2/3)

We manage our own contracted bus services for students in the Ashover, Kelstedge, Matlock and Darley Dale areas (LMS1/2) and in the Peak Forest, Dove Holes and Buxton areas (LMS3).

Tickets can now be purchased via ShuttleID, an on-line payment system, making it easier than ever for parents and carers to purchase bus tickets.  It also notifies you of any transport updates or delays.

Bus passes can be paid in full for the academic year or in eight instalments, with direct debit payments appearing on your bank statement as ‘Go Cardless’.

Click here to purchase a ticket for the LMS1 Service (Ashover, Kelstedge, Matlock), LMS2 Service (Darley Dale), LMS2a Service (Darley Dale Co-op) or the LMS3 Service (Peak Forest, Dove Holes, Buxton).

Places on the buses may be limited so book early to secure your place.

Please watch this video to get started https://youtu.be/JcJfrJZpi9uTg

Getting started

  • All students must have a valid ticket to travel on school buses from September.
  • To purchase your ticket, click on the ‘Buy ticket’ link which is a separate tab on this web page.
  • Once you have clicked “Buy ticket” you will be directed to the ShuttleID website.
  • The first time you do this you will need to register your account.  You will be asked to confirm your email address and a confirmation code will be sent to that address.  You need this code to confirm your email address.
  • See video for guidance on setting up your account.
  • Please note, the email address and phone number you use to register with ShuttleID will be the ones used to contact you about school bus updates and delays.

Select your ticket type from the list.  The available options are:

  • Annual pass – valid for five days per week – single payment.
  • Annual pass – valid for five days per week – direct debit for eight instalments – you will need to fill in a direct debit mandate when you register to buy your ticket (see video).  Initial payment is taken when you set up the mandate followed by seven instalments will be taken on the 1st of each month starting 1st September and ending 1st March.

Once you have selected the ticket you will be asked to provide further information:

  • A direct debit mandate form (if paying in instalments).
  • A photo of your child this is optional you might find it easier using a mobile phone to register so you have access to your photos.
  • Your bus stop from the drop down menu.
  • On the payment page, if you are paying in instalments, you will need to confirm the payment schedule (see the video above).  If you are buying an annual pass as a one off payment, you will need to enter your credit card/debit card details.
  • When your purchase is confirmed you will be sent a QR code.  This is your child’s ticket.  If you have purchased a ticket on behalf of the passenger you can enter an email address or mobile number to send the ticket to.  The QR code will be available in the ShuttleID passenger portal and an email copy will be sent to you.  You can bookmark the ticket in your web browser on your phone or save a screenshot.
  • If your child does not have a mobile phone, a printed copy of the QR code is accepted.  Please contact the school office on 01629 812671, to request a printed copy QR codes if you do not have access to a printer.
  • When your child gets on the bus they will scan the QR code either on their phone or as a printed copy onto the reader at the front of the bus.

Bus Passes

  1. A bus pass, purchased through ShuttleID, is required to travel on the dedicated LMS services. Cash payments are not accepted on these buses.

Upon successful completion of a purchase, customers will receive a QR code by email which will be scanned each time they board the bus.  Customers are encouraged to carry a paper copy of their ticket as well as having it on their mobile device.
  3. For bus passes purchased by instalments, the first instalment will be taken at the time of purchase. Subsequent instalments will be taken on the 1st of each month starting 1st September and ending 1st March.  It is the responsibility of the payer to ensure funds are in place when the payment is taken from the bank.  Failure to have funds in place will result in a failed payment and cancellation of the bus pass.
  4. Failure to present a valid bus pass, could result in the student being denied access to the school bus.
  5. Students must take full responsibility for the safe keeping of their bus pass. Screenshots are permitted.
  6. Bus passes purchased via ShuttleID are unique to individuals and are for the sole use of the student for whom the original purchase was made. Any student attempting to use a pass which they have not legitimately purchased, or been awarded for their own use, will be subject to disciplinary action and the right to use transport organised by LMS will be withdrawn.  LMS may also terminate, without refund, the pass of the user account which is being misused.
  7. Students are not permitted to travel without a valid ticket and pay in arrears. Students who are unable to show a valid ticket must contact info@ladymanners.derbyshire.sch.uk in advance of travel. In such circumstances LMS will make all reasonable efforts to facilitate travel.

Refunds Policy

  1. For bus passes paid for in full, pro-rata refunds may be paid at the school’s discretion where the student has formally withdrawn from the school. Refunds will only be made for a full term* remaining on the bus pass.  No refund will be made for any part of a term where the student has registered attendance.

(*term relates to Autumn, Spring or Summer term)

  1. For bus passes paid for via direct debit instalment payments, it is the user’s responsibility to cancel future direct debit transactions with their bank in situations where the bus pass is no longer needed. No refunds will be issued for payments already made other than in exceptional circumstances as agreed by the school.
