Congratulations to two of our Year 8 students, Layla and Emma who came first in the SeaCadets NW Area Sailing Regatta at Southport, in the Junior Quest double hander category, on Sunday 12 July. They will now go through to the National Championships. Layla and Emma came from behind, but consistency and sailing tenacity over 4 races produced a triumph overall. Layla and Emma are both cadets with the Buxton Sea Cadets unit who are on the water every Saturday on Erwood reservoir. Well done, girls!
