Recently, four Year 8 students went to the regional final of the Foreign Language Translation Bee in Peterborough. The students faced tough competition from over 7000 other students and each came within the top 10 in their language. Although they did not make it to the final, they showed great resilience and courage, standing up to compete in front of a packed auditorium, and translating as many sentences as they could in a minute from English into the language they are learning. All four students behaved and performed impeccably and were an absolute credit to our school. Well done to all involved!
