Lady Manners School has once again hosted a visiting school from Slovenia. The students spent two days at our school and experienced a range of educational and cultural activities. Each Slovenian student was looked after by one of our Year 9 ‘buddies’.
During the two days, the students experienced a Drama workshop, a language lesson, a maths challenge, a bread making challenge and delivered a Slovenian language and cultural lesson to all of our Year 7 students. The Lady Manners students also joined our guests for an evening meal at a local hotel.
This was an incredible experience for all of the students and, hopefully, just the start in developing strong links between the two schools.
