Before half term, we took 14 Year 7 and Year 8 students to see Nottingham Forest Netball v AO Manchester Thunder in a super league match at Nottingham’s MotorPoint arena.
The girls thoroughly enjoyed the experience and were inspired watching elite sport and netball played at the highest level. They made sure they looked the part with their merchandise and soon learned all the Forest chants to cheer on the home team. They were also keen to learn more about the teams, league and rules in the super league and are motivated to put these into action in their own performances next season.
This opportunity came about through Lady Manners School partnership with Nottingham Forest Netball and the students’ support for the team and their conduct in the arena were exemplary.
