I have lived in Youlgrave for more than thirty years now. I sent my two children to Lady Manners School and spent most of my career working at the school, teaching drama mostly and English sometimes, taking on various roles in the pastoral care team and as Assistant Headteacher from 1999-2014.
Now retired, my role as a governor allows me to continue to contribute in a small way to the continued success of the school I care deeply about. I still enjoy creating theatre with young people and my other interests include dance, gardening and languages.
