I joined the Lady Manners School Governing Board as a parent governor in October 2023. Previously, I was the vice chair of governors for the Woodland Federation of Peak District Schools (comprising the primary schools at Peak Forest, Greak Hucklow and Stoney Middleton), having joined their governing body in 2016.
As far as my work life is concerned, I am a solicitor who specialises in family law and a partner at Keystone Law. I qualified as a solicitor in 1998. In 2003, I moved to Philadelphia and worked for a law firm there, before returning to the UK a couple of years later to settle in the Peak District, where I enjoy walking, cycling and horse riding.
My son started Y7 at Lady Manners School in September 2023 and I am keen to ensure that the school continues to evolve and develop in the best interests of all those involved.
