I moved to Bakewell in 2007 on the appointment of my husband, Tony, as Vicar of Bakewell. A secondary school French teacher initially, I had a career break bringing up three children, returning to work in education and completing further study in Education Social Work. I have worked for Derbyshire County Council as an Education Social Worker and as School Counsellor at St Mary’s Catholic High School for the last 12 years, a role which I love. I am passionate about safeguarding and promoting the emotional well being of young people.
I enjoy travelling to lesser known parts of Europe whenever time allows.
