I was elected as a Lady Manners parent governor in November 2020, having previously spent eight years on the governing board of Longstone Primary School in Great Longstone (with six years as Chair).
I grew up in Derbyshire and moved back here several years ago after a career in investment banking which took me to London, Hong Kong and New York. After moving back home, I set up as a freelance financial consultant, working with investment banks and large corporate clients. My work is part-time which leaves me plenty of spare time to commit to governor duties.
My wife and I live in Little Longstone with our three children, two of whom attend Lady Manners. I’m a keen believer in the state school system and its ability to provide an excellent education for all children, regardless of need or background. As a governor I will try to contribute in any way I can to the continued success of Lady Manners School.
