Originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland, I have lived in Derbyshire since 2002.
I am a former senior Police Officer with 31 years’ service both in Northern Ireland and Derbyshire. I now work on a part-time basis within Children’s Services Department, Derbyshire County Council. My academic qualifications include BSc (Hons) Policing and Police Studies and a post graduate degree MSc Criminal Justice Studies from Portsmouth University.
I am delighted to be a member of the Board of Governors and I operate in the best interest of all students and the wider community in support of the teachers and staff at Lady Manners School. I am the link Governor for the Personal and Physical Development Faculty whilst also being a member of the Curriculum and Students Committee. I have two daughters who attend the school.
My personal interests include playing golf and squash with a keen interest in Premier League Football.
