Originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland, I have lived in Derbyshire since 2002.
I am a former senior Police Officer with 31 years’ service both in Northern Ireland and Derbyshire. I now work on a part-time basis within Children’s Services Department, Derbyshire County Council. My academic qualifications include BSc (Hons) Policing and Police Studies and a post graduate degree MSc Criminal Justice Studies from Portsmouth University.
I am delighted to be a member of the Board of Governors and I will operate in the best interest of all students and the wider community in support of the teachers and staff at Lady Manners School.
My personal interests include seeing my two daughters thrive and currently one enjoys attending Lady Manners School, playing golf and squash with a keen interest in Premier League Football.
