History was made this week as a group of Year 8 and 9 students represented the school in its first ever full contact game of girls’ rugby.  They played two games in a mini tournament in which they came second.  In the first game, despite going 1 try down, they showed great resilience as they fought back to win 2 tries to 1.

In the second game, they played a school which fielded a few national champion winners from last year.  The girls, once again, played brilliantly, defending well as a team, but unfortunately were defeated by 3 tries.  We are immensely proud of the team!
