It has been a busy week for members of the Lady Manners Farming Club.
Last Tuesday they were treated to lunch by Bakewell Farming Life Centre (https://thefarminglifecentre.org.uk/). Chloe Redfearn and Alice Morley visited us from the Farming Life Centre to talk about careers in farming overseas. Alice gave students an excellent presentation about her work in New Zealand and America and inspired our students to think about all the opportunities open to them in the farming industry.
On Thursday students visited the LAMMA exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham where they were able to meet farming professionals and see the wide range of career opportunities open to them within farming and agriculture.
All of the farming club students agreed that it had been a great week that they had thoroughly enjoyed!
