Last week, some of our Year 7 students received library lessons in the use of safe and effective online research from our colleagues at Encyclopaedia Britannica. The students joined in with online training, researched topics in depth and travelled the world virtually with the interactive maps. Students also created their own accounts which will help them in the future with their homework, research and revision online, ensuring that they have a safe space to search and learn.
We would like to say a big thank you to the staff at Britannica and to the Year 7 students for engaging with the sessions with so much enthusiasm.
