Last week, a group of 37 Year 10 Fine Art GCSE students had a lovely day visiting Chatsworth House and Gardens.  They saw an exhibition called ‘Picturing Childhood’ where they viewed many interesting paintings, sculptures, costumes and artefacts as well as exciting interactive works by contemporary artists.  Students also had the chance to create their own drawings and sketches in all the different rooms and around the beautiful gardens.  Some students managed to avoid the rain showers by finding a seat to draw all the unusual plants and flowers in the greenhouse.
