On 28 March, several students from Lady Manners School appeared on a televised episode of Britains Got Talent, singing in the ‘Key Voices’ choir and they received four “Yes” votes from the judges!

Many Lady Manners School students are part of local choirs: Perfect Pitch, Perfect Pitch training choir and Key Voices all rehearse every Tuesday in Great Longstone at Tilly Studios and are led by the wonderful Lady Manners School alumni, Emma Hopkins.

The choirs are to compete in further competitions this year, with Perfect Pitch and Perfect Pitch Training choir getting through to the final of the Open Children’s choir category and Key Voices getting through to the final of the Choir of the World category, due to take place in Llangollen in July.

The choirs are going from strength to strength, with Perfect Pitch training choir having also been awarded a well-deserved second place in the Barnardo’s Junior National competition in Birmingham on 3 March.
