In May, 41 excited students and 5 teachers set off for Madrid as part of the first ever Spanish trip for Lady Manners School!
The group kicked off their adventure with a visit to the bustling local market, where they explored vibrant stalls and practised their Spanish with friendly vendors.
One of the highlights was the tour of the iconic Santiago de Bernabéu Stadium, home of Real Madrid. Football fans were thrilled be able to sit in the stands of one of Europe’s most famous arenas.
In the evening, students were captivated by a passionate flamenco show, experiencing the rhythm, colour, and energy of this traditional Spanish dance. The group also indulged in a delicious tapas lunch, sampling a variety of Spanish dishes in true local style.
To top it all off, the final day was spent at the Warner Brothers Theme Park, where roller coasters, cartoon characters and laughter brought the trip to an exciting close.
The Madrid trip was a perfect mix of education and entertainment, offering students a deeper appreciation of Spanish culture and a chance to bond with classmates. ¡Hasta luego, Madrid!”
