I am pleased to have been elected as a parent governor and will work hard to represent all the staff and pupils at Lady Manners School.
My son is in Year 7 and my daughter hopefully will join in 2 years.
I studied up to degree level in Aerospace Engineering. Then, after a career as a helicopter pilot in the Royal Air Force, I moved into civilian search and rescue and I am currently based at Humberside Coastguard who cover all of Derbyshire.
I have lived and worked all over the world but am pleased to settle down in the county of my birth.
I keep fit with Jiu Jitsu, rugby and triathlon.
In my spare time I also volunteer coaching SEND rugby at Matlock and for the Blind Veterans charity.
