Lady Manners School Year 10 students have presented a cheque for over £1,000 to representatives from their chosen charity, MIND.
The 14 and 15 year olds held a 'Wear Your Christmas Jumper to School' day and a sponsored dodgeball event - which included all 230 students! The Christmas spirit was evident in both events, and the youngsters were delighted with the amount raised.
The charity was chosen by a vote and MIND, which provides advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem, was the clear winner.
Mr Wallace, Pastoral Leader for Year 10 said: "The students really enjoyed themselves and took part with fantastic spirit. The atmosphere the Year Group created was extremely positive; we are proud of them."
