2016 marks a further year of consistently strong A level success at Lady Manners School.
There were 140 Year 13 students who completed their studies this year. Four students achieved the highest grades of four Grade A or A* passes within their full A level results, and they are Finlay Goodwin, Megan Jones, Thomas Moores and William Ward. Another 15 students achieved three Grade A or A* passes within their full A Level results – Bronwen Adlington, Hannah Askey, Kit Battarbee, Sophie Beadsmoore, Georgina Botham, Rachel Burnley, Samuel Edmans, Rosie Elliott, Sorcha Heelan, Alistair Hickman, Harry Hinckley, Thomas Parker, Georgina Walker, Daniel Ward and Stephanie Williams. In many cases these students also achieved a high grade in their Extended Project Qualification too.
Students at Lady Manners School have performed well overall with many achieving the top grades. More than half of all the grades achieved are in the higher categories of A*, A, or B.
In addition to the students mentioned already, there are many other good performances at a whole variety of levels and the vast majority of students have achieved the grades that they needed so that they are able to take their next important step.
Headteacher Mr Meikle has commented on the A level results by saying “Lots of our students have performed very well. The results overall are thoroughly deserved. Congratulations to students and staff who have had to work very hard to achieve these successes”.
