PTFA Vacancies

Lady Manners School Parents, Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA) currently has the following vacancies. All vacancies are voluntary roles and provide a great opportunity to have a direct impact on the educational experience your child will enjoy. There are many different roles and ways to support the school which require as little or as much time as you can give. Alternatively there are other ways to support the school by donating funds or prizes which will help with fundraising for the development of resources and facilities available to all students at Lady Manners School.

We are looking for a Secretary to join the existing committee members. The role involves planning agendas and taking notes at meetings which take place 3 to 6 times per year. It can be combined with the role of PTFA administrator.

If you like dealing with email correspondence, we have the perfect role for you. We need someone to check the emails to the PTFA account on a regular basis and respond or forward to the relevant person as needed.

Enthusiasm and communication skills are needed to co-ordinate the willing number of volunteers. The register needs to be kept up to date with current contact details and availability. Rotas are needed for some events.

We are looking for someone to complete and co-ordinate the applications for grants and awards that might be available. Ideas to attract funding would also be very helpful.

This role needs someone to support the Chair and to deputise for them in their absence. It will involve attending meetings 3 to 6 times per year as well as attending some of the events to help promote the work of the PTFA.
