We are currently seeking the following, to join our team:

Pastoral Manager (Sixth Form) - Re-advertisement
  • Closing date: 30 September 2019
  • Grade 8 £22,628 to £24,455 per annum pro rata
  • 30 hours per week, 40 weeks per year

The role involves working as part of a team to support the progress and development of our Sixth Form students. With 75% of our students progressing to higher education, a key part of this role is to assist with the UCAS process. Other duties will include daily monitoring of attendance, providing pastoral support to individual students, managing the sixth form bursary and raising aspirations fund and facilitating independent learning in the study area. You should have experience of working in a secondary school or FE college, ideally in a pastoral role, with knowledge of the academic and social issues experienced by young people. Knowledge of the higher education application process would be advantageous. Actual salary is £16,166 to £17,417 per annum.

Site Supervisor
  • Closing date: 30 September 2019
  • Grade 5 £18,426 to £18,794 per annum pro rata plus enhancement of time and a third for unsocial hours worked after 7pm or before 7am
  • 37 hours per week, including weekend work to service lettings of the school premises, 52 weeks per year
    • Rotating shift pattern:
      • Week 1: 6 am to 2 pm Monday to Thursday and 6 am to 1.30 pm Friday
      • Week 2: 8 am to 4 pm Monday to Thursday and 8 am to 3.30 pm Friday
      • Week 3: 1 pm to 9 pm Monday to Thursday and 1.30 pm to 9.00 pm Friday
      • Hours for weekend work are variable to meet letting requirements

Our team of enthusiastic and committed caretaking staff provide an invaluable and professional service to ensure that our school buildings and grounds are maintained to high standards.

The role involves a variety of duties including unlocking and securing the site, performing maintenance tasks, and grounds maintenance.  You will be well supported and training is available

Support Services Assistants (Catering)

  • Post 1: Temporary to cover long-term sickness
    • 22.5 hours per week, 38.2 weeks per year

Join our highly successful catering department to provide a comprehensive service to students and staff. Ideally you should have experience of working in a catering environment, knowledge of food production techniques and health and safety.

Relief Support Services Assistant

Duties include clearing, preparing and serving food and supervising students. Experience of working in a similar role would be advantageous although full training will be provided. The rate of pay will be £9.18 per hour plus £1.33 per hour in lieu of annual leave/bank holidays.

Invigilator

Duties include assisting with the preparation of the examination room, supervising students during the examination and ensuring examinations run in accordance with rules and regulations. The rate of pay will be £9.36 per hour plus £1.36 per hour in lieu of annual leave/bank holidays.
