Wearing a school uniform is important in giving a sense of pride and belonging to the school community. Lady Manners School has a code of dress aimed at ensuring that students are smart and good ambassadors for the school.
We appreciate the continuing support of parents in ensuring that only the specified items of school uniform are purchased and in reinforcing our expectations.
Please download the brochures at the bottom of the page for details of the code of dress.
Guidance for Girls' Uniform
School Skirt
The school skirt is mid to dark grey, pleated (all-round or box pleats) for Years 7-11. The new style of skirt should finish no more than 5cm above the knee, and the pleats should be stitched down at the top of the skirt. Suitable skirts, matching these requirements, are available from both of our school uniform suppliers, and also from a wide range of high street stores.
Girls' Trousers
Girls' trousers, if worn, must be mid to dark grey tailored trousers. Tight fitting trousers, leggings, jeggings, lycra or jersey based trousers are not acceptable. Light grey or trousers above the ankle are also not part of our uniform. Trousers similar to the following examples are appropriate for school:
- Example trousers (Gogna Schoolwear and Sports)
- Example trousers (Kick Off Sport)
