My children are the fourth generation of my family to attend Lady Manners School. We are extremely proud of our links with the school. By being an active member of the school's wonderful Parents' Association and a Governor, I hope that I can give a little back.
My interests are business, finance and education. I currently work at Buxton and Leek College lecturing in AAT (Accounts) along with full-time study at Sheffield Hallam University in Business and Finance. My husband and I own two small companies based around software and business consultancy, and I am a clerk to Governors at a local primary school. My two eldest daughters have passed through Lady Manners School and are now at university. My two youngest daughters are both current students at Lady Manners School.
This is my second term of office as a Lady Manners School Governor, and my fourth term of office as a Governor, the others being at nursery and primary schools. I hope to assist and challenge the strategic leadership to ensure that Lady Manners School continues to thrive.
