Choosing a secondary school is an important and sometimes daunting task. We recognise that parents and future students will want to know as much as they can about how well we perform; what are our aims, values and ethos; what we teach; and about life at the school. We hope to provide as much of this as possible on this website, and at the various events we offer to future students and their parents.
Transition between primary school and Lady Manners School
Once the choice is made, we want our new Year 7 students to feel as happy and confident as possible about coming to Lady Manners School. In order to achieve this we have created a 'transition process' which gradually introduces future students to our school and teachers. Events are arranged that are designed to encourage the children to feel at home here. The transition process doesn't stop at their first day with us. Our dedicated team of Year 7 tutors are all experienced in the needs of Year 7 students. Parents have the chance to meet their child's tutor in November of their first year to discuss how they have settled in to Lady Manners School.
