Lady Manners School Sixth Form students have, once again, added to the school’s consistently strong record of A Level success.
There were 146 Year 13 students who completed their studies this year. Two students achieved the highest grades of A or A* in five full A Level subjects: Dennis Lindebaum and Harry McMullan. Four students achieved A or A* passes in four A levels: Benjamin Edmans, Harry Haddow, Molly Jankowski and Benjamin Roche. Another sixteen students achieved three grade A or A* passes: Cameron Bishop, Jacob Bower, George Bromley, Robin Brooks, Anna Cairns, James Chetwood, Harriet Cooke, Florence Elliott, Heather Kreit, Theodore Leadbeater, Alice Malone, Harry Poole, Abigail Smith, Helena Stephens, Gabi Wickersham and Benjamin Willis. In many cases students also achieved a high grade in their Extended Project Qualification too.
Students at Lady Manners School have performed well overall. In fact, more than half of all the grades achieved are in the higher categories of A*, A, or B.
In addition to those already mentioned, too many other students to name have produced good performances at a whole variety of levels. The vast majority of students have achieved the grades that they needed so that they are able to take their next important step.
Headteacher Mr Meikle commented on the A level results: “We are very proud of all of our students. They have worked hard and performed well, opening up their next exciting opportunity, be it at university, an apprenticeship or starting out in the world of work. I, and the Lady Manners School staff, wish them all the very best of luck in their future careers.”
