I was delighted to have been elected as a Parent Governor for Lady Manners School in November 2020. I look forward to spending many years focusing my efforts on representing the parents and carers of the school as a Parent Governor, whilst being a critical friend of this wonderful school.
My husband and I have three children, with our 2 daughters in Years 7 and 9 at LMS. Our son is in the Juniors of Litton Primary School, where I have played an active role in the PTA as treasurer and trustee for many years.
I have worked as a Chartered Accountant for over 15 years in a corporate environment, including construction and facilities management, more recently as a Finance Director and now as a Financial Consultant in supporting local businesses in developing robust financial systems.
Having grown up in the Peak District myself, I feel blessed to be bringing up our 3 children in the same beautiful surroundings. We spend a lot of our spare time as a family on walks and I am never happier than in the hills, on a sunny day with my family.
