After leaving school, I attended Lancaster University where I trained to be a primary school teacher reading music as my specialist subject.
After leaving University I taught in two different state schools, in Trafford and Derbyshire authorities, before moving to S. Anselm's School in Bakewell. In the summer of 2015 I began working for the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
My affiliation with Lady Manners School began in 2013 when my daughter Phoebe began her secondary school education.
I have been a parent governor at Lady Manners School since 2013, and I endeavour to continue to support the governing body, Headteacher, staff, students and parents as effectively and efficiently as possible for the rest of my term of office.
